ADVERSITY QUOTIENT PADA MAHASISWA: SEBUAH STUDI KOMPARASI PADA MAHASISWA PAI PROGRAM REGULER DENGAN PUTM DI UMY
Abstract
This research is to describe the result of the difference of adversity quotient level of PAI (Islamic Education) students of regular study program and PUTM (Pendidikan Ulama Tarjih Muhammadiyah - Education of Ulama Tarjih Muhammadiyah) students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This research is to observe the adversity quotient level of PAI students of regular study program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta; to observe the level of adversity quotient of PUTM students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta; and to observe whether there is difference between the adversity quotient level of PAI students of regular study program at UMY and that of PUTM students in Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
The type of this research is survey using quantitative approach with comparative method. The method of data gathering was questionnaire related to the adversity quotient of PAI students of regular study program and the adversity quotient of PUTM student. In analyzing this research, the researcher used t-test examination namely Independent Sample t-Test, using SPSS Statistic 25 program in order to see the difference between the result of adversity quotient of PAI students of regular program and that of PUTM at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
The result of the research is (1) The adversity quotient of PAI students of regular study program at UMY is in the medium category, (2) The adversity quotient of PUTM UMY students is in the medium category, (3) Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. There is no difference between the adversity quotient level of PAI students of regular study program and that of PUTM students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. It is proven with the result of Independent sample T-Test with the value of Sig. 0.953>0.05. If it is observed theoretically, there is a difference between PAI and PUTM students but it is not significant with the explanation that the AQ of PUTM students is higher than that of PAI students
