Abstract
Changes in land use, especially in urban areas that affect water reduction in catchment area in the region. The water absorption is not optimal in the soil that affects a contradiction between the excess water during the rainy season and drought in the long dry season. The concept of conventional drainage should be left since the system works only to throw immediate water into water bodies (rivers). The concept of sustainable drainage systems should begin to be applied for the concept of runoff water that can be absorbed back into the ground to reduce the burden of the received stream runoff water and fill the water table. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of permeatic application and permeatic combinations with infiltration pipes in the implementation of sustainable drainage systems, by testing the performance of permeatic use and the combination of permeatic with infiltration pipes in drainage channels on a laboratory scale. The results of this study indicate that the use of permeatic in drainage channels was able to increase water absorption. The variation in the permeatic distance has a significant influence in terms of increasing water absorption. In normal conditions, the ability to absorb the water is 0.111 L/s, but while using permeatic the water-absorbing power can be increased to 0.168 L/s - 0.25 L/s depending on the distance used in permeatic.
