Diabetes is a global public health problem which can cause serious disabling complications. Indonesia has been among the top four countries with the highest numbers of diabetes. Although there are various diabetes instruments to evaluate diabetes care in international literature, adequate Indonesian language instruments are scarce. Therefore, suitable Indonesian diabetes-related instruments need to be developed or adapted for Indonesian population.
