This study aims to determine the power of spirituality for increasing the motivation to memorize the Koran on students in the Qur'an tilawatil development institutions. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted at LPTQ UMY. Data obtained through data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the theory of Miles and Huberman with three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while for the validity test is carried out using triangulation with the subject of tahfidz coaches and students. The results showed that the spiritual power and motivation to memorize the Koran according to the builder there is a spiritual form that increases the motivation to memorize the Koran to students, namely, diligently carrying out the five prayer times, performing the midnight prayer, fasting on Thursday Thursday, increasing alms and knowing immoral behavior. . Likewise for the motivation for students, namely, diligent muroja'ah, has a daily target in memorization, wants to boast of parents and give crowns to surge later, and wants to be able to get a scholarship tahfidz.
