PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KOMPENSASI DI LINGKUNGAN KEPERAWATAN TERHADAP KINERJA PERAWAT DIMEDIASI VARIABEL MOTIVASI DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Nursing services make an important contribution in the quality of services in hospitals, so every effort is made to improve nurse performance. Problems that a rise based on a preliminary study conducted at the end of October 2016 at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital, there are still nurses behavior that hinde service to patient which has an impact on the decline in nurse performance.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of (1)leadership in nursing on nurses motivation, (2) compensation in nursing on nurses ‘motivation, (3) leadership in nursing on nurses performance,(4) compensation in nursing on nurses performance, and (5) motivation in nursing on nurses performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital.
The study used cross sectional research design. Subjects in this study were nurses at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital Hospital with a total sample of 70 people who were examined with questionnaire instruments, while the research object was leadership, compensation, motivation, and performance of nurses. Analysis of research data using path analysis and processing data about this study using a computer program with SPSS 17.0 and using F Test and t Test.
After conducting an assessment of testing can prove the performance of nurses PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital need significant support by leadership, compensation and motivation while motivation itself is influenced by leadership and compensation.
