ANALISIS SISTEM EFI YAMAHA VIXION DENGAN SISTEM INJEKSI YAMAHA MIXTURE JET-FI (YMJET-FI)
Abstract
EFI Technology (Electronic Fuel Injection) is one that is widely used in today's vehicles. The fuel system on this technology regulated by ECM (Electronic Control Module). The development of the EFI technology in the world auto industry, then the education required to provide an understanding of the EFI technology especially in the field of Automotive. Trainer Yamaha Mixture Jet-FI (YMJET-FI) have been selected as the technology is widely used, this technology is also not in the practice lab motorcycle, so the need for analysis of the EFI system on engine stand Yamaha V-Ixion.
Process Analysis includes dismantling fuel injector system, fuel pumps, and sensors in the system of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Yamaha V-Ixion. After dismantling steps and then do the required inspection, examination include prisoners, the output voltage, and input on each sensor and actuator. The next stage is an improvement, improvements were made in accordance with the results of inspections and measurements on the EFI system components, after making repairs to determine the performance of the Yamaha V-Ixion EFI system then do the testing steps
Based on the analysis of electronic fuel injection system and the identification result of damage to the system that result Throttle Angle = 16.6 SA with its standard specification 14-20 SA, Intake Water Pressure = 99.8 kPa, Water Temperature = 32.0 0C, battery = 11.8 V, CO obtained = 5, and the Fuel Pressure obtained = 260 kPa (2.60 kg / cm3) with a standard specification = 250 kPa (2:50 kg / cm3, 35.6 psi). From the above analysis it can be concluded vixion yamaha fuel system still works well and produces lower exhaust emissions. While improvements made to the system of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Yamaha V-Ixion is an improvement on the throttle position sensor for acquired damage to the diagnosis trouble code = 16.
