IDENTIFICATION OF POTENCIES OF PLANT BAMBOO DEVELOPMENT ZONE IN GUNUNGKIDUL. A research entitled “Identification of Potencies of Plant bamboo Development Zone in Gunungkidul” was held in Sub-district of Patuk from February up to May 2016. This study aims to assess the potential for the cultivation of bamboo in the Sub-district of Patuk, Gunungkidul. This research was conducted using of observation method trhough primary and secondary data collection. The primary data obtained through interview techniques and analysis of soil samples in determining soil characteristics. While secondary data obtained from a review of the literature and relevant government agencies. The results showed that the Sub-district of Patuk had potency of adequate fertility for the development of bamboo cultivation.
