IDENTIFICATION OF POTENCIES OF PLANT BAMBOO DEVELOPMENT ZONE IN GUNUNGKIDUL. A research entitled ‘‘Identification of Potencies of Plant Bamboo Development Zone in Gunungkidul’’ Was heldin the Sub-district of Playen from Febuary up to May 2016. This study aims to assess the potential for the cultivation of bamboo in the district of Playen, Gunungkidul. This research was was conducted using the observation method through primary and secondary data collection. The primary data obtained through primary and analysis of soil samples in determining soil characteristics. While scondary data obtained frm a review of the literature and relevant agencies The results showed that the Sub-district of Playen had potency of adequate fertility for the development of bamboo cultivation.
