The research aimed at explaining about the implementation of the pattern of da’wah bil maal in the development strategy of BMT (Case study of BMT Beringharjo and BMT BIF Yogyakarta). It had background of some things, i.e. the research was conducted with da’wah bil maal approach and there was only a few research on the implementation of the pattern of da’wah bil maal in the development strategy of BMT. The problems of the research were how the pattern of da’wah bil maal was, in BMT Beringharjo and BMT BIF Yogyakarta in the development strategy of BMT. The research used qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the research were BMT Beringharjo and BMT BIF Yogyakarta. The methods used were interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the analysis conducted in on both institution, the result showed that the patterns of da’wah bil maal, used by BMT Beringharjo were the empoerment patten and social help pattern. Meanwhile, the patterns used by BMT BIF were development pattern of productive economy, education and preaching pattern and social help pattern. From the patterns, it could be found that there was similarity in the pattern used in the two institutions, i.e. social help patterns. Based on the pattern, it was then implemented in the programs in the two institutions. Programs in both of them complete to each other and had the same goal, i.e. doing preaching, by orally, by real action and by da’wah bil maal to empower the society and to help solving the problems existing
