dc.description.abstractPresentation method is one of the method that is famous in English Education Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Almost all of lecturers in EED UMY apply presentation method in the activity. This research aims to find the benefits on using presentation method, and the difficulties on using presentation method. The data of this research were collected from 6 participants. Participants are the students of English Education Department batch 2012. This research uses interview to collect the data. The finding of this research have answered the research question of this research. All of the participants were reporting that presentation method has thirteen benefits when they do presentation in the classroom. On the other hand, the students at EED UMY also have difficulties on doing the presentation method. There are three difficulties that students feel when students presented in front of the class. The difficulties of students in doing presentation method are students feel difficult in making the audience focused; the presenter feels difficult in making audience understand; lack of vocabulary is an obstacle for students in presentation.en_US
