      Abstract
      Anxiety is a mood signed by physical symptomps, such as physical tension and worrying about future. So, test or exam is assumed as a dangerous thing. The most dominant element that causes anxiety is cognitive element which is feeling worried and negative thought that consider that test will endanger students’ position. By being sure, sincere and thankful, SEFT method assumes that the cure comes from God. Application of SEFT can be done in many kinds of field, such as in school. SEFT method can also be used in emotional control. For example, it can be applied to students who have emotional problems, such as being stubborn, having difficulty to focus on something, being lazy to study and being moody. It can also be used to students who have problems related toteenagers’ sexual hormone changes. This research is aimed to analyze the influence of SEFT method on decreasing level of student’ anxiety when they will face exam. Method This research used Quasi Experimental Design with two group pretest-posttest with control group design in SMP Negeri 1 Kasihan from October 2015 to February 2016. The research instrument used Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS) questionnaire and patient’s scale perception of anxiety. Result Wilcoxon was used in this research. The results are that 29 students (65,9%) experienced decreasing level of anxiety in therapy group while 15 (34,1) students experienced it in control group.On the other hand, 3 (20%) students experience increasing level of anxiety in therapy group and 12 (80%) students in control sample. Conclusion There are effects before and after SEFT therapy was applied to students of SMP Negeri 1 Kasihan. p=0,00
