Implementation of National Health Insurance ( JKN ) that organized by Social Security Agency (BPJS) begin on January 1, 2014 isn’t optimal. Some of the challenges experienced by health professionals, especially dentists. These challenges become an obstacle by dentists to provide oral health services, obstacle include capitation, dental health services, benefit packages, workload, and knowledge of dentists about JKN. This research aims to describe the dentist to provide oral health service of JKN era at the health center of Kulon Progo. Methode : Descriptive observational with cross sectional design. Subject in this study are dentists of central health in Kulon Progo (n=18 people). Data was collected in Juli-September 2015. Research used questionnaire, consisted of perception and knowledge. Perception questionnaire contains questions about the perception of dentists to capitation, dental health facilities, benefits packages, and workload, assessed with Likert scale. Knowledge questionnaire contains questions about knowledge of health paradigm, management, benefit packages, and referral system, assessed with Guttmann with interval scale. Data where analyzed used descriptive statistic method with frequency and mean distribution. Result : Characteristic of responden are : the most responden are woman (77,78%), age group of 44-55 years old (44,44%), most respondent work in non hospitalization (72,22%). Obstacles of variable capitation (88,89%), dental helath facilities (11,11%), benefit package (38,89%), and workloud (16,67%). Level of knowlwdge are : good (61,11%), moderate (33,33%), and bad (5,56%.) Conclusion : The obstacles with the highest value is capitation and the level of knowledge of dentist about JKN are good (61,11%).
