Biography novel is a mass communication media that can form a social reality construction and positive identity from a public figure. Phenomenon of ideal leadership is frequently established by the author, especially in the biography novel Menapak Jejak Amien Rais ‘Persembahan Seorang Putri Untuk Ayah Tercinta’. In this novel, the author establishes ideal leadership in version of Amien Rais which can be seen from the sector of politics, religion, and family. This research used narrative analysis model of Algirdas Greimas that can be reviewed through four parts, namely narration structure, narration substances, actant model, and square opposition. By using narrative analysis, the researcher is able to reveal the hidden meaning in a narration. The result of analysing the novel of Menapak Jejak Amien Rais ‘Persembahan Seorang Putri Untuk Ayah Tercinta’ is the author constructs how the ideal leadership in Indonesia should be, that is ideal leader is a man who can lead his family, a leader who is capable in the field of politics, and a leader who is religious and embraces the laws and rules of islam.
