dc.description | In educational case, teachers are the most important person. They also have significant role. Besides, Attitudes are important to educational. Teachers’ attitudes are important factors in the learning process as well as in academic. In PBI UMY, there were some students that mostly absent to join the class. When the researcher asked them, they said that teachers’ attitude made them lazy to come and join the class. This research focused on the students’ perception on teachers’ attitude in teaching English at PBI UMY. The purpose of this study was to find out the teachers’ attitude in PBI UMY based on the students’ perception. Second, this research was to know the influence of the teachers’ attitude toward students’ learning. This research was conducted in PBI UMY as research setting. This research used interview as data collection method. Interviews were held toward six students in PBI UMY. The respondents were chosen based on the present list. The result of this research showed that affective attitude of teachers in PBI UMY was good. The respondents mentioned some good attitudes from the teacher such as teachers of PBI UMY were kind, friendly, and also good. The second finding was about behavior attitude. The findings showed that the attitudes from the teachers were different. Some respondents felt that teachers’ attitude in PBI UMY was good when they were teaching. The attitudes were such as easy to commune, using polite language, and also polite in using clothes. | en_US |
