HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI DESA SALAMREJO
Abstract
Antihypertensive drugs can control blood pressure of hypertensive patients. Blood pressure can be controlled either by dutifully taking antihypertensive medication.
Objective : This study aimed to determine the relationship of adherence about taking antihypertensive medication to blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Village Salamrejo.
Methods: This study is correlational with cross sectional design. A sample of 104 respondents who are patients already recorded in Puskesmas Sentolo II who lived in the village of Salamrejo with total sampling technique. Analysis of the correlation hypothesis using Kolmogorov Smirnov test with results that not normally distributed and the subsequent test using Spearman (rho).Instrument medication adherence modifying of Morisky Medication adherence Scale (MMAS - 8) and questionnaire from the Journal of Management and Pharmacy Practice.
Results: The majority of the population in the village Salamrejo dutifully taking medication antihypertensive there are 82 respondents(78.8 %). The systolic blood pressure in the susceptible 120-139 mmHg amount 55 respondents (52.9 %). Diastolic blood pressure in the susceptible 90-99 mmHg amount 37 respondents (35.6 %). The results showed that there is a significant relationship between antihypertensive medication adherence with systolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients with p value = 0.001 (< 0.05) with the closeness of the correlation about (-0.432). Artifacts significant association between antihypertensive medication adherence with diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients with p value = 0.001 (< 0.05) with the closeness of the correlation about (-0.507).
Conclusion :There is a relationship between antihypertensive medication adherence in hypertensive patient to blood pressure both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
