PENGARUH TERAPI SEFT (SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE) TERHADAP PENURUNAN SKOR DESAKAN UNTUK MEROKOK PADA SISWA SMPN 1 KASIHAN, BANTUL
Abstract
Background: Smoking Tobacco is processed including cigars or any other form that is generated from the plant Nicotiama tabacuma, Nicotiama rustica and other species that are a potential and nerve toxins in low concentrations can cause addiction. Stop the smoking habit is not easy business, one of which is caused due to a lack of motivation to quit smoking. SEFT method (Spiritual, Emotional, Freedom, Technic) is an effective method to overcome phobias, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, pain, and the tendency of the people against the consumption of cigarettes.
Methods: this research uses quasi experimental design using draft two group pretest-post test design with control group design. The sample in this study are grade 7.8 and 9 SMP Negeri 1 pity, Bantul, Yogyakarta who smoked a number of 40 people who meet the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. The smoking behaviour questionnaire used was adapted from The Questionnaire of Smoking Urges (QSU)
Results: Group therapy there is a decrease in the average 11.4000, whereas in the control group there was a decrease in the average 0.9412. Analysis of results obtained from studies with test Wilcolxonp = 0.00 (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: the results of behavioral tendencies decrease Wilcoxon there smoking on SEFT therapy after a sample. It can be seen from the results of a post-test that experienced a decline after the SEFT therapy. Thus it can be concluded that the therapy effect on SEFT attempts to stop smoking.
