| dc.description | Bidang kedokteran gigi ortodontik mendapat banyak perhatian pada saat ini, penggunaan intrumen pesawat ortodontik mulai luas digunakan oleh masyarakat yang ingin memperbaiki penampilan gigi geliginya. Instrument perawatan ortodontik menggunakan kawat cekat dan kawat lepasan yang populer digunakan memiliki keuntungan dan kerugiannya masing-masing. Ini dapat menimbulkan dampak berbedanya persepsi kepuasan pasien terhadap pilihan perawatan ortodontik yang akan dijalani nantinya.
Tujuan : penelitian ini melihat perbedaan persepsi kepuasan antara pasien ortodontik yang menggunakan kawat cekat dengan kawat lepasan
Metode penelitian : penelitian berjenis observational analytic dengan desain penelitian Cross Sectional. menggunakan sampel seluruh populasi mahasiswa pendidikan kedokteran gigi universitas muhammadiyah Yogyakarta 2012-2015 yang menggunakan/menjalani perawatan ortodontik. Instrument pengukuran menggunakan Dental Satisfaction Quistioner (DSQ). uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Mann-Whitney Non Parametric Test.
Hasil : Hasil yang didapatkan p=0,295 (p > 0,05) yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara 2 kelompok responden. Kedua kelompok responden menyatakan puas dan sangat puas (Lichert scale 3 & 4) dan tidak ada responden yang mengaku tidak puas maupun sangat tidak puas.
Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil ialah bahwa H0 yaitu bahwa tidak ada perbedaan persepsi kepuasan antara kedua kelompok responden dinyatakan benar. Baik kelompok pengguna kawat cekat maupun lepasan sama-sama merasa puas dengan perawatan yang dijalaninya. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Field of dentistry orthodontic got a lot of attention at the moment, the use of the best orthodontic instruments ranging widely used by people who want to improve the appearance of their teeth. orthodontic treatment using fixed wire and removable popularly used has its advantages and disadvantages. This may lead to different perceptions to patient satisfaction with orthodontic treatment options that will be undertaken later Objective: This study foresee a difference in perception of satisfaction among orthodontic patients who use fixed and removable orthodontic treatment. Methods: this study were observational analytic research with cross sectional study design. using a sample of the entire population of students of dental education 2012-2015 at University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta who use / undergoing orthodontic treatment . Dental Satisfaction questionnaire ( DSQ ) were used as measurement. The statistical test used is the non parametric Mann- Whitney Test. Results: The results obtained with p = 0.295 ( p > 0.05 ) , which means there are no significant differences between the two groups of respondents . Both groups of respondents said they were satisfied and very satisfied ( Lichert scale 3 & 4 ) and no respondents who are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied . Conclusion: The conclusion that can be drawn is that H0 which state that there is no difference in the perception of satisfaction between the two groups of respondents stated correctly . Both groups of users with fixed and removable orthodontic treatment are equally satisfied with the treatment they underwent . | en_US |
