STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA MIKRO KECIL DAN MENENGAH (UMKM) PELAKU EKONOMI KREATIF SUBSEKTOR KERAJINAN DAN FESYEN DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to establish Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development strategy of creative economy agents on craft and fashion subsector in Yogyakarta Special Region, enhance competitiveness since there are many creative people in almost every place of Yogyakarta Special Region. Therefore, if the development conducted by Cooperative Agency and MSMEs are able to run well, the creative economy agents of SMSEs in Yogyakarta Special Region will be able to improve regional economy as well as reduce the number of unemployment due to the fact that Yogyakarta is populated with people who have creative soul and paradigm.
The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive which was conducted in some creative economy agents of craft and fashion subsectors, Cooperative agency and SMSEs. The data used in this study were primary data gathered from the field and secondary data which gained indirectly. The data were obtained through interview with the businessmen and related agency. The data analysis technique used SWOT analysis.
