Hadith is the second source of Islamic law after the Qur'an that serves as a complementary or explanatory Qur'an. Many traditions are scattered in various books makes some people reluctant to use the tradition because it is difficult to look at the books or books of hadith including hadith of Bukhari Muslim. Along with the development of technology, tradition in the books made into android-based applications that can be accessed via smartphone so that it becomes more practical. However, applications that are already available traditions still has deficiencies that make it difficult for the user to use the application. Users still have to conduct a tradition that will be used manually as a search on the book, in addition to see applications that are not structured as well as the absence of instructions for using the app makes it hard for users. Of these problems, this study aims to develop applications based on android Muslim Hadith Bukhari. In the process of developing this application, the author uses the Android Developer Tools product of Eclipse and using the method of application development Waterfall. It embodies the Java programming language and XML. Application development of this tradition has been successfully implemented. Application has been through two testing are functional testing and testing directly to the user. Functional test results indicate that the application has been made in accordance with the design and application of test results for some users it can be concluded that the application meets the needs of users.
