HUBUNGAN JENIS DAN TINDAKAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN KEPATUHAN KUNJUNGAN ORANG TUA BALITA USIA 1-59 BULAN DI POSYANDU NGEBEL, KASIHAN, BANTUL
Abstract
Based on Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) in 2007 to 2013, the prevalence of low-nutrient children is 19,6% increasing. Nutrient state’s disorder will influence the growth and development from toddler until the next phase. That is the reason why we should pay attention. One of the most important factors in toddler’s nutrient state is parenting. The indication of health service utilization is the presence of people to attend to the health service itself, in this case, Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu). The adherence of parents to monitor children’s growth and development using Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS) is the key.
Purpose: To analyze the relations between parenting and the adherence of toddler’s (1-59 months old) visitation in Ngebel Posyandu, Kasihan, Bantul.
Methods: This is a quantitative using analytic observational research with cross-sectional approach. Samples that used are parents with 1-59 months old toddler in Ngebel Posyandu. From these samples, 52 respondents were collected with simple random sampling technique using Chi Square Test and Kolmogorov Smirnov to analyze the data.
Results and Discussion: 28 respondents had authoritative kind of parenting with 29 children with bad eating parenting, 30 children with good self parenting, 33 children with bad health parenting, and 28 respondents were not adherence to visit Posyandu. There is a relation between parenting and the adherence for Posyandu visitation with p value = 0,007 for the parenting type, p value = 0,000 for eating parenting, p value = 0,004 for self parenting and p = 0,015 for health parenting.
Conclusion: There is a relation between parenting and the adherence of Posyandu visitation for toddler between 1-59 months old in Ngebel Posyandu, Kasihan, Bantul
