The one of quality indicator of state university or private university is graduation rates of the student. Some of the data from the student who have graduated were analyzed to determine the factors that influence students' graduation rates. The process of the student data analysis using data mining techniques that aims to extract and discover patterns from the collection of valuable information. In this research, data mining using decision tree ID3. The information of collection is derived from the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta’s database. Research use data of the graduated students who graduated in 2013, 2014, and 2015 which amounts to 272 students with the attributes of provincial origin, sex and high school majors. The data mining process using few software such as RapidMiner, Sql Server 2014 management studio and Microsoft Excel.
