      Abstract
      Gone Girl is a movie that describes the background of the lives of women who are already under pressure since early childhood. She had the steering into what is envisioned by her parents until she could not be her true self and feeling depressed and affect her future married life. She had be the character of a selfish, anti-social and bossy or arbitrarily. Stereotypes of women in society generally reflect that women are gentle, sensitive and compassionate. But every face problems, women also have their own way to overcome the problem that is either by finding a way out with the thought and showing defiance to not oppressed. But this is contrary to the storyline of this movie Gone Girl. The purpose of this study was to determine how the representation of women are represented in the film "Gone Girl". Data collection techniques is made by observing the film and then capture multiple images in a scene that there are elements that mark can represent women. The data has been collected and analyzed by the method of narration. The conclusion of this study in the movie Gone Girl are showing signs that represent women, that women are strong and able to fight, intelligent and able to think and can do anything if it were distrub her.
