The aim of this research is to identify the economic potencies based on the superior sectors in Mukomuko Regency by comparing the Gross Regional Domestic Product at Constant Prices 2010 of Mukomuko Regency with the Province of Bengkulu. The method used in this research is the LQ analysis, MRP analysis, Shift-share analysis, Klassen Typology analysis, and SWOT analysis. Based on the LQ analysis conducted by the basic sectors of Mukomuko Regency are the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, processing industry, large and retail trade, and cars and motorbikes reparation. The MRP analysis shows that the economic growth in Mukomuko Regency is higher than the Province of Bengkulu. The total result of Shift-share analysis shows a positive value and increases every year. The result of Klassen Typology analysis shows that the developed and fast-growing sectors in Mukomuko Regency are the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, processing industry, and information and technology. Meanwhile, based on the SWOT analysis, it shows that the special strategies used for increasing development are needed such as the strategy to improve the Human Resources quality, to use the geographical location in Mukomuko Regency, to improve the Human Resources Quality in order to manage the natural resources effectively and efficiently, to develop the processing industry and technology use in improving the production and promotion of tourism sectors, and the strategy to improve the quality of transportation facilities to support the development performance.
