| dc.description | Background: Communication problem often triggers medication error. Interprofessional Education (IPE) as education process of two or more health professions to learn and work from each others can be solution in increase patient safety.
Purpose: To discover the relations between interprofessional communication skills and tutorial score of FKIK UMY health professions students.
Methods: This research is an observational analytic design with cross-sectional approach. The samples in this study were 30 health professions students of FKIK UMY that taken using non probability sampling technique with consecutive sampling type. Interprofessional communication skills measured using validated Interprofessional communication skills questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation test.
Results and Discussion: From this research, the significance value or the p-value is 0.024 or p <0.05 which means that both variables have a significant relation. Correlation coefficient (r) of this research is 0.412. The strength of the correlation between the two variables is moderate and has a positive relation.
Conclusion: There is a relation with moderate correlation strength between interprofessional communication skills and tutorial score of FKIK UMY health professions students. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Latar Belakang: Masalah komunikasi sering menjadi pemicu tindakan medication error. Interprofessional Education (IPE) sebagai proses pendidikan dua atau lebih profesi kesehatan untuk saling belajar dan bekerja satu sama lain bisa menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan keselamatan pasien.
Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan komunikasi interprofesi dengan nilai tutorial mahasiswa profesi kesehatan FKIK UMY.
Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa profesi kesehatan FKIK UMY yang diambil menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis consecutive sampling. Kemampuan komunikasi interprofesi diukur menggunakan instrument kuesioner kemampuan komunikasi interprofesi yang sudah divalidasi. Kemudian dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman.
Hasil dan Pembahasan: Dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai signifikansi atau nilai p yaitu 0.024 atau p<0.05 yang berarti kedua variabel memiliki hubungan yang bermakna. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) dari penelitian ini sebesar 0,412. Kekuatan korelasi dari kedua variabel adalah sedang dan memiliki hubungan yang positif.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang antara kemampuan komunikasi interprofesi dengan nilai tutorial mahasiswa profesi kesehatan FKIK UMY. | en_US |
