dc.description.abstract | This research aims to know 1) the emotional intelligence level of students of VII
grade, 2) learning achievement of Islamic Education, and 3) the influence of emotional
intelligence towards the learning achievement of Islamic Education. The type of this
research is descriptive and using quantitative approach with correlational model. The
population of the research is students of VII grade in SMP Negeri 3 Pengasih. The
sampling technique is random sampling with total students is 65 students. The data
collecting technique are questionnaires, observation, interview and documentation. The
data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis, regression test, and anova test.
The result of the research showed 1) the level of emotional intelligence of the
students in VII grade is in a medium category, it is known from the highest percentage
result is 31%, the mean is 84,35 in the interval class 82-86, 2) the learning achievement
of the students in VII grade is in a medium category, with the highest percentage result is
43%, the mean is 70,34 in the interval class 61-73, and 3) there is influence of emotional
intelligence towards the learning achievement of students in Islamic Education subject
with the significant level is 0,031<0,05 and the influence of X variable towards Y by
regarding R square is 0,071 or 7,1%, whereas the rest is 92,9% is influenced by other
factors do not discussed in this research. | en_US |
