ANALISIS ISI PELANGGARAN ETIKA PARIWARA INDONESIA IKLAN KOLOM SURAT KABAR HARIAN TRIBUN JOGJA PERIODE JANUARI SAMPAI MARET 2017
Abstract
This research aims at observing the violation of Advertising Code of Ethics and Practice in Tribun Jogja daily newspaper advertisement column in the period of January to March 2017. The objectives of this research are: to find out the violation forms, to find out the frequency, and to describe quantitatively the violation types of Advertising Code of Ethics and Practice in Tribun Jogja daily newspaper advertisement column in the period of January to March 2017.
The research type used was descriptive quantitative with 15 daily newspaper at the samples selected using random sampling technique. There were 411 advertisement from the whole samples numbering 572 violations. In this research, it was explained in details the types of Advertising Code of Ethics and Practice violations through reliability test using the Holsty formula to find out the precentage of agerrment.
The research result shows that the violations mostly occur in the job vacancy advertisement column with the percentage of 34,1% from the frequency number of 195. Meanwhile, the violations least occur in the using of the words “terms and conditions apply” advertisement column with the percentage of 2,6% from the frequency number of 15 resulting from 15 editions as the samplesd and from the total number of violations samples of 572 in Tribun Jogja daily newspaper advertisement column in the period of January to March 2017.
