STUDI KOMPARASI EFEKTIVITAS ANTARA METODE INDIVIDUAL DAN METODE KLASIKAL DALAM SISTEM YANBU’A DI TPQ BAHRUL ULUUM BULU TEMANGGUNG JAWA TENGAH
Abstract
This research discusses comparison of implementing individual method and classical method in Yanbu’a system. This study is motivated by difficulties experienced by teachers in managing student due to the limited number of teacher and time allocation to recite al-Qur’an. Therefore, the researcher hopes to conduct an experimental reseach using classical method in Yanbu’a learning system. This experiment is expected to make learning process become more effective than how it was previously.
This reseach is aimed identifying: (1) the implementation of Yanbu’a learning using individual method; (2) the implementation of classical learning method; (3) the comparison of effectiveness between individual method and classical method in Yanbu’a learning system.
The sample taken for this reseach were student of level 3 and 4 divided into two classes, those are control class (individual) and experimental class (classical). This reseach used quantitative method approach with quasi experiment design. Data was gathered through several methods of test, observation, interview and documentation.
The test result in control class (individual method) suggested that individual method before and after being tested averagely underwent an increase of 0,08. Whereas the test result in classical class suggested that before and after being tested it underwent an increase of 4,58. From those result, it can be seen that the implementation of classical method in learning process underwent drastic increase. In term of learning motivation, students became more active, motivated and enthusiastic to learn which led to higher level of learning material comprehension. The class nuance became organized and hence students became more meticulous. This research result indicated that the implementation of classical method in Yanbu’a learning system was more effective to be compared with the implementation of individual method.
