This study aimed to analyze the difference of health islamic bank and conventional bank using RGEC method (Risk profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital) from 2012 - 2016. The use of the RGEC method has been established by BI (Bank Indonesia) effective since 2012 and stipulated in PBI no. 13/1 / PBI / 2011. The object used in this study is a islamic bank and conventional bank with total 63 banks and registered in OJK (Financial Services Authority) and have annual report and GCG report. The study used was comparative analysis and using non parametric test. Based on previous research, risk profile variable was assessed using NPL (Non Performing Loan) and LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio), GCG variables are derived from the GCG annual report, Earnings variables use ROA (Return On Asset), Capital variables use CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio). using a variable that has a ratio due to this study using the ratio value as a comparison. Significant comparison results indicate that there is a significant difference from each variable.
