ANALISIS RUAS JALAN KH. AHMAD DAHLAN YOGYAKARTA DENGAN METODE MKJI 1997 DAN VISSIM1
Abstract
Roads are defined as paths between two nodes or intersections of a plot not a plane.
It may or may not be equipped with travelling signaling devices. Congestions occured in
the segment of a road are usually caused by several factors, such as the significant growth
of motor vehicle users with limited road capacity, the increasing tendency of private
transportation service users compared to its public counterpart, and urbanization as
happened in Yogyakarta city as a tourist destination and student city.
This research will begin by traffic surveys and literature studies to obtain primary
data in forms of vehicles volume, road geometry, side barriers and vehicles speed. The
secondary data will be obtained from aerial photographs and population data. The data
obtained then will be analyzed by using MKJI 1997 and computer application VISSIM 9.0
to create a correlation between both data.
The results of analysis by using MKJI 1997 method are: Speed VLV = 21.216 km/h,
Volume Q = 3,073.8 smp/h, Capacity C = 3,561.378 smp/h, Saturation Degree DS = 0.863,
Service level of the road LoS = 0.863 (E), There are no queueing and delay parameters in
MKJI 199. As for VISSIM 9.0 computer application, the results are: VLV = 21.25 km/h, Q
= 5247 smp/h, QLenMax = 62.76 m, Delay = 41.94 s. The service level of the road is E.
There is no parameter of degree of saturation (DS) in Vissim 9.0.
