STRATEGI EKSPOR KOPI PT FAJAR JEUMPA MEDAN KE BERBAGAI NEGARA
Abstract
There are three main purposes of this research. First, this research aim at analyzing kinds of exporting strategies of coffee export done by PT. Fajar Jeumpa Medan Company in exporting coffee to the destination countries. Secondly, it aimto analyze problems faced by PT. Fajar Jeumpa Medan Company in implementing exporting strategies of coffee export to the destination countries. Third, it aimto describe the companies who are become partners in exporting destination countries of PT. Fajar Jeumpa Medan Company.
The results of this research show that the export strategy operated by PT. Fajar Jeumpa Medan company is direct exporting through trading house coming from seven destination countries. They are America, Japan, Netherland, Taiwan, Switzerland, Germany, and Korea. Problems faced by Fajar Jeumpa Company in exporting to those seven countries are internal and external problems. Those problems still can be handled well by the company by implementing tactical and strategic steps. There are numerous trading house of different countries. Normally, one country has I trading house, and others have more (two trading house).
PT. Fajar Jeumpa Medan company doing partnership through trading house offer professional, integrity, credibility, honesty, and that are experienced. The Countries that have many trading house are Americawith 7 trading houses, followed by Netherland having 5 trading houses, Japan and Taiwan having 3 trading houses, while Switzerland, Germany and Korea have 1 trading house.
