The development of today's industry is so rapid, the support of technology that is so sophisticated currently has a huge influence. In addition, consumers are now more concerned with quality than at a cheap price. This study aims to apply statistical quality control (SQC), evaluate and identify alternative solutions for product quality improvement. The type of data used is primary data, data obtained directly from Waton merch leather Yogyakarta by conducting interviews and documentation. Analytical techniques in this study using statistical quality control method (SQC) assisted by using microsof excel. The results of this study on Waton Merch Leather Yogyakarta show that z = 3 sigma is still in control, but if z = 2 then there are defective products out of control. The main cause of quality occurs outside of control because of its accuracy human resources.
