ANALISIS MIKRO EKONOMI TENTANG FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI TINGKAT UPAH STUDI KASUS: INDONESIAN FAMILY LIFE SURVEY
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the wage rate in Indonesia. The model employed is the Mincer Earnings Model that explains wage is a function of schooling and experience. The data of this research is obtained from IFLS (Indonesian Family Life Survey) wave 5 with 14.335 number of observations. The multiple regression analysis is used for the estimation. This research finds that there is a statistical evidence that education attainment positively affects wage significantly, meaning that the more attainment on year of education the higher the wage that can be acquired. The control variables such as hours of work, marital status, age, and experience also affect income positively and significantly.
