PERBANDINGAN PERAWATAN SECARA TERBUKA DAN TERTUTUP TERHADAP TIMBULNYA INFEKSI LUKA PADA PASIEN PASCA SIRKUMSISI
Abstract
Background : Circumcision is penis prepusium disposal operations. This action is the action at most minor surgery through out the world. Sterility is less good when circumcision and hygienic post circumcision that are not awake cause infections of wounds. The incidence of wound infection circumcision of 0.4%. Wound care closed with kassa has a risk of infection occurs due to a surfeit of kassa. Open wound care humidity will be maintained properly, because the moisture content of topical medicine then wound healing will be optimal. The presence of antibiotics on the drug tropically is active to fight germs. Surgical wound infection occurs if the number of his microbais enough. There are many factors that influence the incidence of post operative wound infections, the treatment was indeed able to prevent the occurrence of post-operative wound infections. However, it should be noted the other things that could be affected. Signs of the emergence of infection of wounds as seen from discovery of Erythema, Haemoserous, pussy, broken chain. Method : Quasi experimental performed on 25 until 30 December 2016 in mass circumcision activity at PKU Muhammadiyah II hospital, Gamping Yogyakarta Indonesia. The subject of this research is men ages 5-15 years that join in mass circumcision activity that meet the criteria of inclusion. The subject of 15 children, randomly divided in 2 groups. 8 child care openly and 7 child care covered. Every day in 5 days after circumcision carried out observations of the emergence of infection of wounds in patients. Result :Analysis of test data difference using Fishers’s exact test obtained a value of exact sig (2-sided) that contain 0.041. It means that the test results is more meaningful experience the number of infections with 5 people that open treatment groups with 1 person. Conclusion : There is significant differences between open treatment and closed against the incidence of wound infection in patients of post circumcision.
