Fire is a problem that can’t be separated from humans. The losses incurred by fire are not only the destruction of the buildings, but the disadvantages of human morals and souls. Fire prevention in buildings is to prevent the occurrence of fire in buildings or workspace and study room. This study aims to determine the value of reliability and application of utility systems and fire prevention in buildings. Data of utility system and fire prevention system in buildings can be known and done by several methods such as direct observation analysis method and assessment of utility system and fire prevention in building based on Minister of Public Works Regulation no. 26/PRT/M/2008. The results of this study obtained the value of utility system reliability in buildings E6 and E7 (63,39%), Pascasarjana (62,33%), F3 (59,89%) and reliability value of fire prevention system in buildings E6 and E7 (81,4%), pascasarjana (81,4%), and F3 (52,31%).
