      Abstract
The purpose of this research was to know the combination of natural carrier material on the liquid formula of fermented Lantana camara and Bacillus thuringiensis in controlling the fire caterpillar on palm oil. Experimental research compiled in Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with single factor experimental design. Stage 1: the ratio of natural media LCPKS and Coconut Water, consisting of 5 treatments: (A) LCPKS: Coconut Water (1:0), (B) LCPKS and Coconut Water (1:3), (C) LCPKS and Coconut Water (1:1), (D) LCPKS and Coconut Water (3:1), (E) LCPKS and Coconut Water (0:1). Observed physical changes during fermentation (temperature, pH, colour, aroma, and TDS), population dynamics and identification of Bacillus thuringiensis. Stage 2; Bioassay test The liquid formula on Setora nitens with 100% concentrated, and each applied to 5 caterpillars with three times repetition. The result of the research showed (1) The natural carrier (LCPKS) and coconut water + extract Lantana camara leaves could be used as alternative media to reproduce Bacillus thuringiensis, (2) Bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis with Lantana camara could synergize nicely as an active ingredient and biological agents.
