One of the factors causing a teen to engage in bullying behavior is parenting.
Parenting pattern is a form of interaction between parents and children in giving

in physical, psychological and social aspects. The level bullying of adolescents in
urban areas tends to be higher due to the pressure of more individualistic social
conditions and emphasizes competition that tends to be released in actions such as
bullying.

parenting with bullying behavior in adolescents in the urban areas.
Methodology: This study was a correlational quantitative method with cross
sectional approach. Respondents of this study amounted to 110 students determined
with simple random sampling technique. Instruments in this study using
questionnaires with data analysis using chi-square test.
Result: The results of this study indicate that parenting pattern is largely
democratic (80.0%), mostly high bullying behavior (91.8%) and no relation
between parental parenting and bullying behavior in adolescents in urban areas
with asymp value. Sig 0.463 (> 0.05).
Conclusion: Parenting patterns have no relationship to bullying behavior in
adolescents in the urban areas. Parenting patterns provided by parents such as
