      Abstract
      The volume of vehicles on the traffic is now very dense, especially during peak hours, so it is causing congestion. Some street intersection in the city of Yogyakarta have performance of the intersection with a bad delay. One of the intersections in the city of Yogyakarta, Tungkak intersection experiencing a bad delay. Signalized intersection at Tungkak still use the order phase of clockwise rotation so it gives impact to the intersection of bad category. Based on the problems above, we need to increase the level of service (LOS) by evaluating, analyzing, and re-modeling the intersection to determine turning ratio and phase sequence more effectively by using PTV VISSIM in order to increase the level of service. The modeling results obtained in the existing conditions at the Tungkak intersection are included in the F category (very bad) with a delay values 83,89 seconds/vehicle, so the evaluation is needed. The results obtained from the Tungkak intersection at peak hours 06.15- 07.15 which is the best ratios on the west and east areas with 10% straight ratio and 90% right turn ratio, with a delay values 67,58 seconds/vehicle with level of service in E category.
