      Abstract
Growing up of the traffic’s growth has an impact on intersections that allow conflicts as like congestion. The user of cycles and phase sequences in the APILL system having been using a clockwise or reverse phase sequences. The signalized intersection at Gedongtengen uses a clockwise phase sequences, as a result the driver has to wait long until the lights return to be green while the traffic glow at the intersection is crowded. The data obtained in the field (traffic volume, geometric, cycle time) s then entered into PTV VISSIM. The analysis will produce 2D and 3D animation and generate delay values and LOS that will be used in this study. Based on experiments the phase sequence changes, intersection geometric changes, and cycle time adjustments. Gedongtengen intersection modeling results on working days with peak hours 06.45 – 07.45 AM obtained the best turn ratio on the northern arm and south with a right turn over ratio 90% and a straight ratio of 10% with a delay value of 50,17 sec/veh and service level D.
