      Abstract
      The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia in 2013 reached 26.5%, while Yogyakarta alone occupies the 14th position in Indonesia which has hypertension incidence by 25.7%. The risk of hypertension does not only affect the elderly. Unhealthy lifestyles to students are stress, smoking behavior, alcohol consumption, caffeine consumption, high salt food consumption, lack of exercise and obesity. The aim of this research is to identify the identification of hypertension risk factors that can be changed in the students of Law Faculty Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Quantitative descriptive research with cross sectional design. The samples of this research are 90 respondents with accidental sampling technique. The instrument of this study used questionnaires of some 6 questionnaires. Analysis of data in use is the frequency distribution. The results showed that percentage of hypertension risk factors that can be changed in the students of Faculty of Law Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta which is categorized risk based on sub variable of hypertension risk factor include obesity 8,9%, smoking habit 16,7%, alcohol consumption 4,4%, stress 75,6%, coffee consumption 53,3%, high salt food consumption 80,0% and sport habit 67,8%. Respondents in this study dominated women and aged majority 19 years. The majority of respondents have hypertension risk factors that can be changed in sub-variable stress, coffee consumption, high consumption of salt foods and exercise habits.
