      Abstract
This research is a study of the dynamics of media relations that occurred at North Barito Public Relations with Barito Post and TVRI Kalteng in disseminating information on policies and developments in the North Barito government in 2017. In addition, this study also examines the objectivity and credibility of media institutions in disseminating information to the public. This research is a qualitative study with a Case Study approach. Where the source of data comes from interviews and documentation. The interview was conducted with three informants consisting of representatives from each agency both from the North Barito Regency Communication, Information and Coding Agency, journalists from Barito Post, and TVRI Central Kalimantan. The results of the study show that in media relations activities, the North Barito Government Public Relations runs media relations activities in the form of press interviews, press gatherings, and press conferences, besides that there is a cooperation contract between the media and the government in maintaining the spread of news. The contract becomes the control of information disseminated by the media because all news that is considered to have a negative content of the journalist must confirm beforehand to the government Public Relations before disseminating the news.
