STRATEGI PEMERINTAH INDONESIA MENGGUNAKAN GASTRODIPLOMACY TERHADAP AUSTRALIA (2004-2014)
Abstract
This thesis discusses the Indonesian government's
strategy to use gastrodiplomacy as a bridge to establish
harmonious relations with Australia (2004-2014).
Indonesia's relations with Australia have been
established since 1945 with a graph of ups and downs.
With qualitative research methods that produce
descriptive data. While for data collection techniques
using Library Research. This thinking framework uses
the concept of gastrodiplomacy and functionalism theory.
The results show that gastrodiplomacy can create good
relationships for Indonesia and Australia.
Gastrodiplomacy is carried out such as holding culinary
festivals, the existence of typical Indonesian restaurants
in Australia and some food products.
