Bankruptcy is a condition of a company that is entangled in high debt value debt in the long run will tend to bankruptcy, the company does not have sufficient operating income and the company is unable to operate anymore. To overcome the company so that bankruptcy does not occur and as an early warning that is by identifying financial statements earlier. To conduct a bankruptcy analysis it is very important for the company to know the certainty of the condition of the company whether it is indicated to be bankrupt, gray area or in a healthy condition and to be able to make the right decision as a continuation of the company. This study aims to predict the potential for bankruptcy using the Altman model, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover, knowing which company is predicted to be the potential bankruptcy by using the Altman, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover models and to find out one of the most accurate models in analyzing companies retail trade sub-sector during the 2011-2017 period. Conclusions in the test results in this study, namely that there are several Retail Trade sub-sector companies registered in BEI period 2011-2017 that are detected to experience bankruptcy on the Altman, Springate, Zmijewski, and Grover models. In addition, the Grover model is the most accurate model for analyzing the retail sub-sector's business, after it was achieved on the Altman, Springate and Zmijewski models.
