Autism is a complex developmental disorder in children, symptoms include disorders of cognitive response, communication, social interaction and behavior. On average 6 from 1000 people in the world with autism. Therefore we need a new therapy to improve growth in children with autism. This study aims to determine whether there is influence murottal therapy surah Al-Mulk against cognitive response in children with autism. This type of research is pre experiment with the approach of one-group pre-post test design. The subjects of this study were students with autism in SLBN 01 Bantul Yogyakarta school age and adolescence as many as 12 children, therapy is given as many as 10 times in a row . The study was conducted in June 2016 . Cognitive responses measured by the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC). Analysis of data using different test rapid paired T test to determine differences in cognitive response ATEC score pretest and posttest. This study found that the mean score of 12 respondents ATEC cognitive responses before (21:58) and after (22.92). ATEC results of different test scores before and after therapy murottal p = 0.128 (p> 0.05). It can be concluded that there is no significant difference in cognitive response after therapy murottal 10 times
