The purpose of this research is to test the influence of liquidity, leverage, operating capacity and firm size on financial distress in manufacturing company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2012-2017. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with 516 total sample or 86 companies for six years. The research method has been done by using quantitative method with the logistic regression with significant level of 5% and it is also done by using the statistic instrument of SPSS 21.00 version. The result of this research shows that liquidity does not have significant influence to the financial distress, leverage has positive significant influence to the financial distress, operating capacity has significant negative influence to the financial distress, and firm size does not have significant influence to the financial distress.
