      Abstract
      Background: Abuse of alcoholic beverages has become a problem in almost every country, including in Indonesia. Over time, alcoholic drinks are often mixed with other ingredients called oplosan drinks. Oplosan is a mixture of alcoholic beverages and various ingredients, one of which is methanol. All young people, both old people participated in consuming oplosan drinks. They prefer to drink oplosan because the price is much cheaper and affordable for all groups than to legal alcoholic drinks. oplosan is very dangerous and toxic to the body at risk of disability to death within hours. Purpose: This study aims to determine the related risk factors of users of abuse of abuse and outcomes of victims of abuses oplosan. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study that was descriptive semi qualitative with in-depth interview method and retrieval of medical record data at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. The sample in this study was those who met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The research sampling technique uses two sampling techniques namely accidental sampling and purposive sampling. Results: In this study, there were various risk factors that caused a user to consume alcoholic drinks, including (1) Sense of trying (2) Feeling stressed or frustrated (3) Affected by the environment (4) Family role (5) Culture or Culture (6) Easy to get. Outcomes obtained from victim data based on medical records at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital diagnosed with Alcohol Unspecified amounted to 8 people recovered or allowed to go home and 1 person died.
