      Abstract
Yogyakarta, as a city of student and tourism destination, gives a huge impact on the increasing number of vehicles that turns out the high number of road’s accident. Kyai Mojo Street is divided into two segments; the first segment consists of 4/2D, and the second segment consists of 2/2UD. This research aims to Identify potential types of traffic accidents on Kyai Mojo street. to analyze the correlation of volume ratio and road capacity toward vehicle’s speed, and to analyze the correlation of volume ratio and road capacity toward accident probability. Data were collected by survey, linear regression analysis to figure out the correlation of each variable by using Microsoft Office Excel application. The result shows that the type of potential traffic accident is pad segment 1 north side highest on front - side crash, at the highest intersection of the Mataram People's Army on front - front hit and on segment 2 highest on front - back crash. The result shows that the correlation between volume ratio and road capacity effects to vehicle’s speed, which is shown by the linear regression equation. On segment 1, south side, with equation y = -64,279x + 62,445 with R² equals to 0,9611, on segment 1, north side with equation y = -35,846x + 50,905 with R² equals to 0,6299. It means that the higher the road capacity volume, the less the level of accident. While the correlation of road capacity volume ratio toward the potency of the accident using non-linear equation results in a polynomial graphic. Based on 3 graphics, the highest score was V/C between 0,5 – 0,7, with equation of segment 1 north side about y = -1211,4x2+1412,3x-182,51 with R2 equals to 0,7895. On intersection of Tentara Rakyat Mataram Street with equation y = - 1103,7x2 + 1131x – 183,95 within R² = 0,8788, and segment 2 with equation y = -999,26x2 + 1194,7x – 133,85 with R² equals to 0,6438
