      Abstract
      Hypertension is a risk factor for progression of nephropathy diabetic. Treatment antihypertensive can reduce the progression of nephropathy, the risk of cardiovascular events, and slow the progression of chronic kidney disease. This study aim to study of antihypertensive therapy in diabetes mellitus with diabetic nephropathy in the inpatient RSUD Yogyakarta in 2017 based on ADA 2018, JNC8 and related journals. This non experimental study was a retrospective descriptive study with data medical record. Data retrieval of medical records at RSUD Yogyakarta in January-April 2019 with a 28 samples inclusion criteria using the total sampling method. Data ware analyzed and presented in table of appropiateness data conformance percentages with ADA 2018, JNC8, and related journals. The results showed that the single used antihypertensive as 50% with the majority therapy is furosemide 57%, used 2 combinations as many as 36% with the majority combination of Furosemide + Valsartan 40%, and used 3 combinations as much as 14% with a combination of Furosemide + Irbesartan + amlodipine 100%. Antihypertensive therapy in DM patients with complications of diabetic nephropathy in inpatient installations of RSUD Yogyakarta in 2017 showed 100% appropriateness of indication, 100% appropriateness of drug selection (both single and combination) and dose conformity of 96% based on the ADA 2018, JNC8, and related journals
