      Abstract
      This study aims to determine the communication strategy of Masyarakat Peduli Media (MPM) in optimizing literacy on television media. Also,this study aims to find out the form of activities carried out by MPM in optimizing literacy on television media. This research uses the type of field research with descriptive research methods through a qualitative approach. Data collections was done by interview, observation,and documentation. The results of this study indicate the existence of a Masyarakat Peduli Media (MPM) communication strategy regarding literacy on television media that is applied to the community, it is proven that MPM provides assistance to the community, especially among housewives. The method of activities carried out by MPM is the Forum Group Discussion (FGD),seminars and workshops. In MPM activities, the community not only accepts theories but also practices, so people understand how television broadcasts are produced.
