This research aims to analyze the leading sectors in the Regency of Ogan Komering Ulu. The analysis is done by comparing the GDP on the basis of Constant Prices of Ogan Komering Ulu in 2010 and GDRP on the basis of Constant Prices of South Sumatra Province in 2010. The used model is the Analysis Model of the Growth Ratio (MRP), analysis of Shift Share, analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), analysis of Overlay, analysis of Klassen Typology and SWOT analysis. Based on the result of the SWOT analysis, the policy strategy of sector development which needs to be taken is to increase the economy of the region throght potential sector base, improve the quality of education and health services, improve the quality of public facilities and infrastructure and increase the competitiveness of the economy of the region
