PENGARUH INTENSITAS MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN TERHADAP RASA HORMAT ṬALABAH KEPADA USTAD DAN MUSYRIF DI PENDIDIKAN ULAMA TARJIH MUHAMMADIYAH PUTRA
Abstract
This research aims at analyzing the influence of intensity in memorizing al-Qur’an toward respect from students who are undergoing education program at Muhammadiyah Tarjih Ulema Education (PUTM). This is in accordance with the motto of PUTM that is “Integrity of knowledge and behavior”.
The type of this research is field research with quantitative approach. The subject of the research involves all talabah of PUTM in total of 46 people, and several educators who actively participate in the institution. The data in the research was compiled through the methods of questionnaire, observation, and strengthen with interview. The compiled data would then be analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, supported by the SPSS 20 program as the statistical data processing.
The result of the research indicates that the intensity level of talabah in memorizing al-Qur’an at PTUM reaches the number of 49,54 and is rounded to be 50. This average belongs to a good category, and therefore it is concluded that the intensity in memorizing al-Qur’an among talabah at PTUM is in good category. Whilst, respect from talabah reaches the number of 42,15 and is rounded to be 42. The number belongs to a good category, therefore it is concluded that respect from talabah at PTUM is in good category. Meanwhile, the result of the simple linear regression from two variables indicates the amount of regression coefficient is 0,392 which means that within respectively 1% increase on memorizing intensity, there will also be 0,392 increase in respect, the positive (+) coefficient result shows the existence of positive influence between independent and independent variable. On the other hand, coefficient of determination resulted from regression test is amounted at 0,366 which shows that the influence of intensity in memorizing al-Qur’an toward respect from talabah at PTUM for female student is 36,6%.
